In my excitement at the trough, I must have had some gender confusion :barf:
Make that 'new piglet' ...

Hi, my name is Jim, and I'm a knifeaholic.

I've been lurking for awhile. I looked at Busse knives long ago, most were a bit large for my needs, but the Leaner is right.

Now that I'm thoroughly brainwashed, I just plucked down some $ at the Company Store for a Leaner Meaner - Satin finish, black paper micarta scales, Vicki says it'll ship today.

Can't wait !! :D

Jimmy,
Welcome to the Busse forum, I'm glad that you stopped by.

The Leaner is a fine knife, be sure to post your thoughts when it arrives

Congrats

:D:D

awesome knife but if you want some advice you better start looking for a sheath now cuz you'll want to carry it edc when it arrives ;)

welcome to the trough jim

you picked a great new knife for your first busse, post some pics of you beating the crap out of it :D

Jim, welcome to our world.

The Leaner is a sweet piece.

A number of the sheathmakers have sheaths already made. You can chose from kydex or leather, or, as some have done, stick with the Busse TCS (Tactical Cardboard Sheath).

Scott and Vicki are great people to deal with too.

Good choice, and we look forward to any pics and commentary you can pass on to us after you get that pup.

Hammy...
(p.s. "piglette" is wimminz, piglet be for dudes.)

Welcome to the trough JJ! :)

Now that Vicki has INFIcted you, there's no turning back. Be prepared to start sending all your hard earned $$ to Wauseon or Idaho. ;) :D

Welcome to our fun house of nuclear melt down credit cards! Definitely post your observations regarding you new blade after you get to use it a bit.

He'll observe that it cuts. :p :D

Welcome to the trough and my best to your C.C. ;)
Observations, Reviews and Pics are always welcome and appreciated

Thanks for the warm welcome!

As for melting down my CC, I'm just redirecting, they've been on the edge (pun intended) for awhile.

I'm just considering the possibility that one CAN have too many examples of the same knife (no, not really but its a tought). So I thought I'd find a new favorite knife company to send my $.

But reading this forum, that INFI addiction, might make things worse.

"Yes honey, I know they do look the same, but they really are differant, honest"
