OJ had a Buck Knife?

It's perfectly normal to bury knives in the yard. I thought it was a kissing crane stiletto.

Finders keepers rules apply I guess, even at a murder scene. Maybe it was just a buck "style" knife, which could mean anything to the media.

First story I read described it as a "retractable" "folding" knife.

So guessing it could be anything.

A lot of people use "Buck knife" as a generic term for any lockback (or even any locking) folder. It's like Kleenex in that way.

Also, if memory serves, the knife used in the stabbings had a 12-15" blade. I've seen it described as a stiletto.

He probably had one before he became a multi-millionaire professional (American style) football player and so-so actor.
After becoming rich and famous, he probably stopped buying, carrying, or using production knives.

Provenance. Just because that guy said he found it there does not make it true and the house is gone. Plus, it could have been lost by a workman building the original house or something else. However, if it comes back with Nicole's blood on it then that cop needs to be dealt with.

As usual, the media are morons when it comes to knives. From the descriptions, it could be anything from a bread knife to a SAK.

As previously mentioned, a lot of folks use "buck knife" for any locking folder. The missing OJ knife was a picklock folder. I think the length often quoted is the overall unfolded length. A folder with an 8-inch blade for be about 17-inch long unfolded. So far the only description of the recently revealed knife I have heard is that was more of utility design. Someone digging up my folks old home would find several lost throwing knives that slipped under the sod.

Totally irresponsible reporting to call it a "weapon". Whether it is a real Buck knife or not (there are no descriptions or pictures in the article), the average sized folding knife hardly constitutes a "weapon". Almost any kitchen knife makes a far superior weapon.

I still get angry when I read anything about the OJ case. I really hope he didn't use a Buck 110...
