I wasn't sure if I was going to keep this knife, even after I pulled the trigger on it. An investment I was thinking.

Well crap, now I've got another Busse I'll never part with. This is a NICE knife. Handle is comfortable and big enough to fit a few grips in. The drilled thingies on the spine feel a lot more functional than I thought they'd be. The blade feels like a sharp bar of soap. Really nice all around.

My new hunting/butchering knife.

NMSFNO - Big woods knife, paired with the...
BAD - EDC and small woods knife
SASH - Busse Abuse Blade, batoning, digging, destroying barbed wire fence
OJSAR4 - Hunting, Game butchering


Get them while the getting is good!

Just got mine too. Wow! The handle is SUPER comfy. I wasn't sure about the curve in it when looking at the picture, but it sits really well in the hand. It's a lot more of a beast than I thought it was going to be. I thought it was going to be only a little bigger than say a AD, but this is in a whole other weight class. And I know you guys all love GREEN so much, but the orange is gorgeous.
 
Mmmmmm..... Morels and Ramps!

I got my Pumpkin SAR-4 today as well, I honestly like it looks-wise better than my LE. Of course I'm a big fan of orange knife handles anyway, but even the finish on the blade is nicer than my LE. Looks like a keeper! Kudos to Dwayne for the leather sheath as well, fits like a glove and looks great!
 
got mine today with a sheath that it will share with the LE version

When I first seen this thread I couldn't wait to get home and there she was . Good looking knife but no Skunk Junk oh well maybe next time .:thumbup:

I, too, got mine today. Along with the INFI hat and two dog tags I ordered.

I got mine, it's hot but just bigger then what I had thought. Everyone is like yea, if fits and feels great, maybe it's I have smaller hands and thought it would be a bit smaller. I don't know, I knew the specs before I bought it...
I still love it. I think the orange is bright and I love the color...
 
Well, I had my sar4 waiting for me on Sunday night, and within two hours of opening the package, I found something else on this forum that I have wanted for a long time, so I packed it back up and it was sent out today. I think I would have liked to keep this one but I know I've wanted the other one for a long time...
will miss her...





 
Oh Hell Yes. This one showed up at the Post Office today. The G10 handle feels a little like a bar of Lava soap but not quite as gritty. It's about 14.5 oz on a cheap postage scale. Thickness looks like a bit over 0.212" at the ricasso.
