This is a beautiful BDC sold as Lachhu made. I have a lot of Lachhu pieces and none of his Sun's look like this. I imagine it to look like what I've been told a Sher full sun would look like. However, it's UB marked so it's not old enough. The Devanagari script matches my other Lachhu models. Perhaps he was experimenting. It's beautiful though.

Never seen this but looking cool!!!

Thanks Jens, it is classy. I imagine time consuming as well. Perhaps why he didn't adopt it as his standard. It really is a beautiful 18" 29 ounce BDC with wonderful fullers. Maybe he wished to further embellish it.

Ya that's Lachhu for sure. His mark on my AKB and I think Kerambit looks just like that. Seems like sometimes he does more rays than others. Lemme see if I can find a pic or 2

Edit: ok it's not the AKB, that one is more simple, but I was right on the K-bit. My custom Kitchen BDCs have that style mark and so does my new M-43.

I don't really have great close up pics of any of them, but here's the K-bit from an angle where you can clearly see those 4 bigger rays with a bunch of smaller ones.

Absolutely man! Anytime.

I personally love how much some of the marks vary. Adds tons of character. You can almost try to read into how the Kami was feeling at the time he marked it. Could you imagine how boring it would be if they all had stamps??

I agree, the variance gives them character and yes, a stamp would be boring. I'm glad they gave up the electric pen even more.

Beautiful Kerambit! Thanks for sharing. I have been day-dreaming about one.
