Jared, On the Salesman sample, I believe that these were used internally and not many actually made it to the field with the sales people. The "history" on this one was that it was bought from a Buck Salesperson. I have no real idea and I'll let the experts chime in on this. I was told that only 1 out of 10 exist today, but again I have no knowledge of this number. I would think 100's existed??

I can't post more pictures right now as the application seems locked up with the ones I have out here now. I hope you all enjoy as I am. Been up for two days straight admiring these.

Well is it??
yes it is and it is not a lunch box knife
there were lots of knives made for employees and for employee events like lunchens
this appers to be inspired by the german maker puma but in fact is jest
some thing diffrent
even Joe Houser today likes the rased pin look as do i
btw i dont have one of thoes ...

hello
it is my personal belife that there are many more then 100 out there
and they are made with the clear on either side and a few with clear on both sides
leroy made a lot of them but
every one in the shop most likely made some ...
the clear sided ones did indeed make it to the field
and many were snatched by the folks from "upstairs"
were the uppermanagement had offices..
and yes some of these did leave in lunch boxes
many office personal when they left took what they had in their desk...
the new ones today are made from bullet proof plastic which dont scratch

Oh I see, thats the other side of the salesman sample!
I have seen those before, passed one up once cause 200$ was Out Of Range.
I'd imagine there's more than 10 as well.I'll ask Leroy what he knows about them, as he is still making the plexiglass (full) ones.

I feel the love - CTA :). Best treat to myself ever.

Dave, thanks for the update. So the samples are still made today? This is a **BUCK**, so 1980, and I believe the sheath is correct. You don't have one?? If I EVER decide to part with it - holding breath - you have first right on it. I watched this forum for a while and I've always appreciated your knowledge. Did you or do you work for BUCK?
