OK Craig. Wanna know what I think?

First, let me say that I got my issue of Tactical Knives on Thursday. I had a day to read the review of 2 GH khukuris. I was really impressed with the article and enjoyed reading it. Afterwards, I was sure I'd made the right choice when I chose to buy my first 2 Khukuris from GH.
I'm an over-zealous and enthusiastic buyer and I can be a real pest to dealers. I ask a lot of questions, so I worry that someday someone will tell me to buzz off. Not Craig Gottlieb though. He treated me with respect and courtesy, answering all my questions. He never once lost patience. I ended up ordering a SN1 and WWII. He explained to me that I should pick the one I prefer and return the other. I had planned on doing just that until the WWII arrived yesterday (Friday).
This is an awesome and powerful knife. I would have gone straight out to my back fence to start clearing the brush, but it had been raining hard and would continue. I haven't gotten to yet. I admired this large knife and handled the sheath and accessories for the rest of the day.
It is everything I had been led to believe.
Usually, I order a knife with high expectations just to be rewarded with a case of "buyer's remorse". I open the package and find the knife to be wrong in some way. It's disappointing sometimes.
I have been so impressed with this knife that I now expect to keep BOTH khukris.
Thanks Craig. You're a gentleman, a scholar, and a great humanitarian. I don't know any better way to put it. :0)

Tangstamp,

Yeah, Craig's like that. He obviously enjoys what he does and it shows in his individual dealings with people. To top it all off, he's as nice in person as he is on the phone. I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with Craig a few months ago when he was in Miami and I look forward to the next time he visits my neck of the woods.

I know what you mean about buyers remorse. Sometimes expectations exceed reality and you end up thinking to yourself " $h!t, I waited for THIS?" That's one feeling I never had with any of my Khuks. They all exceeded my expectations right out of the box and each one seems to be nicer and more beautiful than the one before.

The nice part is you can enjoy using them and, with a little care, your grandchildren can enjoy using them too. How many other things in life can you say that about?

Blackdog and Tangstamp: You guys are too much. Glad the WWII made it in time! UPS had been letting me down lately. And Tangstamp: this may sound strange, but I'm not sure whether or not the SN1 that I supposedly accidentally shipped you ever got sent after all! Sometimes, we're not the most organized bunch of people here!
