Greetings all,

I found a nice used 6220 Case Peanut with jigged brown bown and CV blades. The springs are surprisingly strong! A little wobble in the main blade, but good walk and talk. I got it and a used but very serviceable CV Sodbuster JR for $26.50 delivered! :D

Looks like your well heeled for cutting tasks there, R'geek. Well done!

Now you gone and done it! The addiction has just started, Soon you will just be doing google searches for peanuts. Not long ago I happy and didn't own a single peanut, now 3-4 months later I have 4 and still looking. Escape while you still can! Steven
P.S. Great looking Peanut (may have to look at that one)

Welcome and congrats to this nice specimen.
The peanut addiction seems to spread.
I have one in my watch pocket next to my zippo right now.

One can only read so many of jackknife's posts before buying a peanut is irresistable!
I hope Case is giving him a royalty.

I often carry a peanut as my office knife. used mine today to slice up and apple, cheese and beef stick, open mail, etc. Lots of cutting power in that little package! Welcome to the fold, so to speak!!

Yesterday, at work, we went into the swamp to collect Gator eggs. We were knee deep in mud (It's been raining something awful here in Central Florida), and trying to crawl on our bellies under the mangrove branches and palmettos to get to some of these nests. My Swisstool came in handy a bunch, using the saw and serrated blades to cut our way through. Well, my Peanut saw some action as well. I used it twice. Once to cut through a garden hose, which was needed for something, and at a Gator's nest. One of the eggs was hatching right there in front of us, but the baby gator was having a tough time getting out. The egg was too soft for some reason.... no, it was very elastic, and all it was doing was stretching and giving, not cracking open. So I took out the pen blade on my Peanut and very gingerly cut a little slit on the egg, careful not to hurt the little guy inside, and as soon as I did, out popped his head, and a few seconds later I had a brand new, bouncing baby gator in my hand, trying to bite my thumb. If it wasn't for my Peanut, who knows how long that little guy would have been in there, or even if he would have made it out at all.
Gotta love Peanuts. Definite life savers.

Got to love them peanuts, can't have just one.

I hate to admit it, but that is an OLD photo, peanuts are additive. Several recent ones did not make the photo op.:o
Now that calles for a new photo, dont it? :p
I'm just a little concerned that you might not be able to fit all of your beauties on the shelves...

 There are THIRTY Peanuts in the first photo!! Wow.

I've got one, and I like it a lot, but wow. I don't think I'll ever have that many of them. Might not ever get more than the one.

Jeez, first he skins them, then he helps birth them.

Definatly a candidate for the golden peanut award!:D

Thanks for all the words of encouragement and warning! :D The little Peanut is sharpening up nicely.

Here's a family photo of it with the Sodbuster JR.
