I need advice on what exactly I have, who the kami is.

Ok, first off is a Bolo, I know Sher made it. 20 1/4'' and 35oz - Satisal wood handle. Total BEAST of a knife, lol.

Ok, and here's where I really need the help - I need to know what kind of khukri these are and make sure I have the kami right on each one.

#1 - 18.5", Kesar I think. Wood handle.

#2 - 15 3/4", Sher again I think? Horn handle.

#3 - 12.5", I don't recognize the kami mark at all? Full tang, wood handle.

All of them are as-purchased, never used, never sharpened, Khukri #1 and #2 I paracord-wrapped the handles then soaked them in beeswax. Should I take the paracord off the handles - there's nothing wrong with the handles?

Anyways, thanks for the advice guys!

Kukri one and two are kobras and three is a bonecutter. Not sure on the bonecutter Kami.

I'm not sure of the values but be careful posting threads about the value of knives; the moderators will jump on you about that because I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to ask about the knife value unless you have a paid membership. Just giving you a heads up. Nice blades though! :)

Really? I mean, I can guess the basic values on them, I'm not asking about some un-known antique :-p

It looks like your also saying blade length only when generally I've seen overall length. # 3 sure looks like a bonecutter to me too course I can't carry an experts brief case.

Looks way more than 12 1/2, I'd say it's probably 18 1/2". I love it whatever it is.

Nope, that's the overall length, I just double checked it.

Don't think I ever heard of a bonecutter 12 1/2" overall. Sure is pretty.

Murali made some a few years ago. From everything I read they were great for hiking/camping and chopped like a much larger blade

I'm really tempted to keep that bonecutter. You guys aren't helping me out :-p

Got another question - I have a R10 with a fish as the Kami mark. (I'm keeping this one) anyone know who made it? Just curious on this one.

Ok, so a couple people asked me for better pictures of the sword. I finally got around to it today, here they are.

Thanks for the new pictures. That is one Great looking sword. The first thing I noticed, was the detail work on the handle, butt and guard. The carving and engraving are really nice! Moving onto the blade, It has a gentle curve which I really like. The recent ones that I've seen have had mostly straight blades, a gentle curve looks better IMO and probably makes it a better slasher. It is one Beautiful user!

Yea I know, which is why I'm really sad to see it go. I really really want to keep it. I've had a few offers for trades on other forums where I have it posted for sale, but I need cash for my wedding, not more toys, lol
