Ok, i ordered a Szabo and thinking about using it as my EDC

hi Jim,
I've been EDC-ing a Szabo myself since mid-November and I didn't find it heavy or cumbersome in the pocket. Of course, my previous EDC was a Millie, so that might have helped the smooth transition. Strange though, to think of the Millie as the "smaller" knife now...

Its too bad where I live it would just be too big to really pull the Szabo out in public to edc. California's surprisingly lenient on knife length but sometimes, folks on the road get all weird on me when I draw any size blade out as it is. It must be nice to have that option. Best I could do is carry it alongside a smaller blade that I'll use more often which really limits its purpose.

The Szabo looks huge, but it's really only a hair (.15") longer than the Military when closed. OTOH, it's over an ounce heavier than the titanium Military. Some would find that significant, others would not. It's pretty much a matter of personal taste.
