I needed a 165 to replace the one I lost years ago, and with the prices they have been going for, I always passed.
Then this one popped up. I figured for the price, is was a China made in a USA made sheath.
And since 47 other people had looked at it, someone had to of asked the seller if it was USA or China.
But for $25, I'll take a chance. I can always return it.
What I got was a Schrade Walden 165. The sheath had storage wear from the knife being in it, and "may" have been on a belt, but the knife was un-used. It has a spot of corrosion, maybe 1/8 inch circle on the guard, but it should clean up with no problem.
It is stamped in three lines, Schrade over Walden over 165.
With a serial number of 18396 on left side.
Now to find a box for it.

Fantasic Score ! i recently paid $47 for a Schrade USA 165 and sheath, used and re-sharpened more than once. and that's about average or a bit better these days.
winning a great older Schrade for little money because it was poorly listed and somehow all the other Scrade-knuts missed it, is a lotta fun. all knife collecting is a lotta fun, but that's a lotta fun within a lotta fun ! roland

That's about what I paid for one I got recently too.
