OK, I'm an id-10-t.... How does one change thread titles???

Searched, found to "go advanced", tried it, and as is normal with my foray into anything tech, FAIL....

Anything I'm not doing??

Anyone have a roadmap??

Edit Post > Go Advanced

Edit post, go advanced, look up above the body of the post to where it says "Title:"

Change "thatmguy is a computer weenie!" to "thatmguy is a computer geek!"

I've also discovered that Mods can double click to the right of a thread title in their forum's main page to open a text box with the title in it for a quick edit. OP's can edit their own the same way.

This worked in the older version, but there was (at least at one time) a time limit when you could go back and edit. The OP had about 30 minutes from the time a thread was created to double click to the right of the thread title to open up an editing box. After the time had elapsed double clicking just opened the thread.

Interestingly enough, in this sub forum, one can double click to edit anyone's threads.

The changes only stick on your own threads, however.
