Actually it's not even close to a khukri but I like it anyhow.

I scored a new second hand one of the Bladeforum annual traditional knives. Always liked traditional knives, don't have any really that qualify.
I saw a pic of these after the order phase was over of course and it kind of called out to me.

Guys will probably cringe but I plan to use it. I don't want to end up being a traditional collector. Actually I want to be but my khukri addiction is more than enough to keep me semi poor.

I know Philllll scored, anybody else grab one?

I saw when they were discussing this years blades but I didn't follow up since then. I have to say, that is one very good looking blade. I think the shape would fit the hand really well. And I certainly can't say anything bad about stag.

Very nice little blade there, I like the stag, has a Bawanna touch to it so I see how you were drawn in. You got to put it next to Ndogs folder when its finished. Great score man.

Very nice Bawanna, I LOVE slip joints especially stag or bone. My daily carry pocket knife is a Northwoods Hawthorne Jack. It has a blue camel bone handle which is stunning. I will post some pics tomorrow on this thread. Really nice blade brotha! I seriously recommend a pocket slip sheath if you are going to carry it. It protects the knife and its super cool to pull out a little rectangle of rich smelling leather, then give it a little squeeze and watch the folder fall into your hand. I always use one with nice slip joints and traditional folders. Stat tuned for pics of the blue camel bone beauty and leather pocket sheath. The sheath is like twenty bucks but its worth double once you use it for the first time. I know you will fall in love with both the knife and sheath

I love that. Traditional knives always call to me, but I always seem to end up with a SAK in my pocket. Something about my contractor mentality of always needing tools on me, I guess.

My dad bought me a nice Texas toothpick when I was about 19. I still have it somewhere, but I tend to gravitate, just like my old man, toward the Buck 110 or 112.

Still, that is some gorgeous little blade you got there. Maybe I should ask for a little slippie like that for Christmas. My fantastic wife always gets me something sharp and pointy as my first gift to open...so that I can cut plastic bands and ties off my daughter's stuff:p

I'm really happy that you were able find one, Joe. Looks like you got a real nice one too.

They knocked it out of the park on the BF knife this year.

I'm keeping the one on the right. The other two are going on a loooooong plane ride.

We must have similar taste, the one on the right would have been my choice of those three also.

Course the other two are awesome too. Like a shell game, rotate em around and I might not pick the same one next time.

Nice design! I like them all. The little swedge is cool. Are they made by a forum craftsman? Color me ignorant but I didnt see anything in the Folder subforum about these?
