I went a different direction with the background for these photos for my upcoming ZT 0561 review.....

i've got a 560 in black in my hands right now and wouldn't you know it, thats what it looks like LOL

Black backgrounds allow the subject of the photo to stand out. The quality camera set up Rollie-J is using gives nice depth and realism to the photos.

As a side---I tried to snap a few images of the full-ish moon last evening, and could not get iDevices or any of my point-n-shoots to show ANY detail; that was easily seen with the naked eye.

I may need to look into upgrading my photo gear the same way I do most everything else. Last thing I need right now is another hobby.

N2K - the moon is a surprisingly difficult subject to shoot. I took this shot a few weeks ago when the Moon was closest to the Earth for the year. I didn't have the optimum equipment for the job either....best one I got:

Looks great to me. All I got a whiteout effect on every pic. No detail of any kind.
 
Nice "Fake" Moon picture :rolleyes: There is no sign of Jackie Gleason ANYWHERE in that Pic.

Nice try...;)
 
To the moon....infinity and beyond...keep moving forward....I better start using quotation marks. :D
