This is a custom I'm working on for Mr. Bowen. He was the person who designed this knife, which is why it's called "the Bowen Custom". There's only one other Bowen Custom in the world and these are the only two that will ever exist. This one has a special acid etch and got glued up today with OD Green canvas micarta scales.
This is a badass Bush Operator XL with Ghost Scale etch, and it got glued up with natural canvas scales over black paper micarta liners.
This is a very special set of handle scales for a very special new design.

The High Plains Drifter.
Here it is fresh out of the oven after tempering.
Here it is ready for glue up with all of the finish grinds done. This blade came out P-E-R-F-E-C-T.
It's in glue-up right now. Should be finished up by Tuesday.
...Ok. I have a confession to make. The High Plains Drifter you saw fresh out of heat treat.... isn't the same one that got ready for glue-up today. That means that there's two of them.
One for some testing and then who knows what and one that is getting some special handles and going in the case for Blade Show.
One thing I worked on today that guys aren't going to see yet is the High Plains Jr. All of its finish grinds are also done and it's waiting for its special handle material to be delivered. I hate to admit it, but its blade turned out even better than the HPD. That one might end up in the personal collection. :foot: Perks of being a knifemaker.
