OK Photoshoppers, how about a 1911 and a...

What, no takers?:p

ok, ok, ok, how about a MOAB on a Barrett instead? It would probably be more practical:D

I do see some intrinsic mall ninja appeal in a device like that. But it just begs the question... If they are close enough to cut with the bayonet... why not just pull the trigger???

What will they dream up next...

If you think you need a bayonet on your pistol then you didn't read the instructions for your pistol.

I can see in a very close and unexpected encounter the bayonet can come in handy especially if you need a clip change or weapon jam.

Not that bad an idea IMO.

outside these encounters it seems the gun handler is more likely to cut himself or other things though...

I have the perfect gun to use that bayonet with:

:D

I have a feeling someone will post who thinks it's a good idea...

Never bring a knife to a gunfight, now for a limited time, bring both!

Speaking of stupid accessories....I saw a video on Youtube where a guy put a front handle on his Glock 18. The handle slipped off and he put a shot through the palm of his hand.

Gotta have something to put in those rail systems and tactical lights and laser sights are such an old idea already. (Not that bayonets for pistols is very new either, but hey, now it's "modular"!)

Next perhaps a modular grenade launcher for pistols to get that critical backup power and tactical flexibility? Maybe a device to fire 12 ga. shotgun ammo since there have been developments to make explosive shells for shotguns. Plus, one could use standard buckshot and slugs as well! Must have a 3" chamber so one can deliver maximum payload in a pinch.

:p
