ok this is a weird request
i have been eyeballing a GEC 66 serpentine jack and i was curious about something.

just how big is the clip blade, is it the same size as the GEC 85? it looks slimmer

basically i was wondering if anyone could post up a pic of the 66 in the closed position
wanting a comparison pic to these

kinda, but it does seem that the clip point rides alot lower on the 66 than it does on the 85
which is what i was trying to figure out.

I had the '11 forum knife for awhile. I know thats the spear blade but its a wider frame for sure. Think the 66 would fit between your others as far as height goes.
 
Here is a #66 Mink compared to a #62032 Texas Jack.

The Mink actually has more blade length in a shorter overall package. The jack has the regular clip (wider) rather than the muskrat clip, but they should be the same length.

I do not have an 85, but here is a comparison of the 66 jack with my 1978 Case 6232, which is very similar to your Texas jack.

its amazing how much fuller the clip blade on the 66 is compared to the texas jack
AND it still in a nice slender package when closed

I'm liking that a lot as well. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for one in a cover I like. That particular one would sure be nice.

Based on my observation of a lot of photos here, I'd say the clip on the model 85 is somewhat broader/taller than the one on the 66, but not having either one in my inventory, that is merely conjecture on my part.

I think the 85 must have a much broader Clip blade, the Spear versions are certainly wide.

Yes, that Rotten Banana Bone is a great catch, I bought one here from a fellow member some months back, real touch of class.

85, 76, 66 and 68........and for those that aren't familiar with the pattern the 85 and 76 are 3 5/8" closed while the 66 and 68 are 3 1/2" closed
