I picked up a pair of us mil snowshoes from here last year and love them. Now they have these. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=170515 so my question is what kind of boots do these use? I want them just for checking my traps and scooting around in the woods.

Looks to me like they will fit boots with a Norwegian welt. I am not familiar with these but know that some companies created skiis like these to fit issue military boots. I'd suggest trying out a few different pairs of boots but look for one with a substantial "lip" where the sole meets the leather.
