So, if you want something really cool you gotta make it yourself. I think I might have offically gone too far this time, but it just might put an end to the "overly complicated, unnecessary gadget war" once and for all. Sure beats the hell out of a Volkswagen key anyways ;) .

Cool.
Imagine a Cop pulling a guy over and seeing a knife stuck in the steering column.;) :D

That is cool but I cant see it enough ! :D is it possible for you to lighten that pic up some and explain what you did ?

Is that an actual, functional key, or did you turn a blade into a key looking kinda thing?
There seem to be a whole lotta notches for a real key.

Still, certainly is unique!

you my friend have wayyyyyyyyyyyy to much free time
... oh by the way that is the coolist key ever

That is freaking awesome. I'd love to do that to my key, except I need all that keyless entry / transponder junk built into it.

Yes, it's a funtional key. My wife's Mazda MPV van key.
And I went with that one because the door and ignition take the same key.

Also, it's a UTX70 clone, I figured a $200+ car key would definately be crossing the line. (besides, I like my ladder pattern damascus moneyclip too much anyways.) ;)

Fantastic stuff WValtakis ... now, where'd I put my damascus George Forman Grill? :D

WValtakis where did you get the clone? If you would be so nice as to let me know I am going to make one for my truck. Also your may have already thought about it but you wife may need to carry a wrench in her purse incase the spring breaks while the key is still inside the handle.
Thanks, Jeff

WValtakis,
Would you be so kind as to take the knife apart, take a picture, and show us how you ground and attached the key? Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks.

Ditto! I've been mulling over putting together the same kind of thing.
