Had to put this up here just for fun

Busse Basic LE Number 87.

I've had it for a while but never had the courage to actually use it. Cleanest cut I can remember making. And sorry if I just broke a bunch of Becker Rules.

Steve

I really want one of those. They look awesome, but this thread needs some becker content. How does it compare in size to say, the bk2? Pics are always best ;)

Ttttrrrrooooollllllleeeeeeerrrrrrr:grumpy:

The good Colonel is far from a troller. Although I will say this thread is a very much not a Becker thread. Colonel, you may want to post up a pic comparing that to say a BK2 or something so as to keep it relevant to this subforum. I myself would like one of those sandwiches as well though. ;)

Yes, send sandwiches and all may be forgiven :D

Oh, uh, and post a pic of it next to a BK2 while you're at it.

The blade on a BK 2 is longer by an inch but the BK2 is much heavier and thicker as well.

And, seriously, what is a "troller" on a knife forum - I really do not know. Hope I have not seriously upset anyone.

And FWIW I ate the sandwich and the knife is not available.

A "troll" is someone on the internet that deliberately incites argument for their own pleasure, typically by posting ludicrous things, or spamming an area dedicated to one thing with something known to be disliked by the people in that area, etc... Basically someone that tries to piss everyone off. In this case, it would be by posting a knife that has absolutely nothing to do with Becker, and also since it is a Busse, whose fans tend to be a bit on the loyal side and some of which have been known to say disparaging things about other knife companies as a result. But we know you didn't come here to do that.

I don't think anyone is upset. We know you well enough to know you weren't trying to cause a stir (nor do I think you did anything wrong).

I for one enjoyed the pic and comparison to the BK2.

Busse Basic 4 LE with a BK2

The Busse is what I hope the BK16 is a mini BK2

and this thread has more Becker content (It said Becker in the title) than say the recent what lighter should I get or the Potbelly thread. Has more to do with who you wanted to share with :)
Thanks for the cool knife and sandwich pic.

I think it's fine picture Colonel...I made a sandwich out of some bread I made and needed a BK2 to baton through it it was so tough...

Only harm done, is now I want a flippin' sammich!

Beautiful knife. I do <3 some Busse action. I am hoping to get one some day soon. Although I want it more of the BK-14 size so I can carry both together, (I always carry 2 blades.)

It is a thread about a knife... Of course there is a point. It would be a lousy knife if it didn't have a point.
