Let me preface my thread by saying that I am a terribly spoiled Spyderco customer :) I love the huge variation in models. This year I only picked up a PPT and a M4 millie due to budget constraints. I am hoping my wife takes the stong hints and gets me a Gayle Bradley for Xmas. After that my want list will be cleared.... this begs the question as to "whats next" from the magic place that is Golden Colordado. Any new models exciting everyone's fancy? I keep hearing rumors of the Tuff plus I like the looks of the all Ti Milli with rounded scales and an anondized design starburst.

What's next for everyone else?

I'm waiting and hoping I get my preorder on the S90v/CF Para 2. Besides that I'm eagerly awating the Resilience I ordered last night as well as the Orange Manix 2 I preordered (slated for December release).

The Laci Szabo folder we saw a prototype of earlier this year is one I'm waiting and hoping to see produced. Aside from that and a few others makes I've preordered I'm about done for this year.

I have several coming on preorder:

* My standard Para 2 is yet to arrive due to the second round production delays
* Super Leaf
* S90V Para 2 (Two each :D )
* CTS-20P Gray Para 2 (two each :D )
* Large Lum folder
* Standard size CF Lum folder
* Dialex Junior
* Orange FFG S30V Manix 2 (Jeff Loffer special)
* Sage 3

To name a few :)

I too am interested in the Tuff. Zero Tolerance with the 0550 and ESEE with the HEST folder have produced some nice "heavy duty" folders. I would be interested to see what Spyderco comes out with.

I would love to see the Gayle Bradley with a RIL. Don't get me wrong, I love the GB as it is, I am carrying it right now, but I thought of this the other day and I can't picture it in my head.

Can't wait to see what comes next :cool:

I hope Spyderco will consider adding stonewashing tubs into their MFG equipment. I can't stop thinking about a Spyderco with a stonewashed blade finish!

I don't have a huge knife budget, and all my knives are users. I try to limit myself to one or two Spydies a year. I also try to not buy in to all the hype and make sure my knife purchases really count.
This year I bought the Gayle Bradley M4 and the KW Ti M4 Milli, I also acquired an original C83 Persian in a trade.
Next year, firstly I'll be looking forward to the G10 Persian and hopefully Ed Schempp's Tuff. The Breeden Rescue has caught my eye too. If a Ti integral compression lock Para 2 ever happens that will be irresistable....and one day I'll get my hands one my Grail C44 Dyad.

Bo.

For me the S90v/CF Para 2 is the next "can't wait" for model.

Placed a preorder for two of the orange-sprint run Manix 2s, so my knife budget is tapped out.

My next knife probably won't be a spyderco, but money permitting, I'd like a Paramilitary 2 and an Orange UKPK somewhere down the road...

Placed a preorder for the orange manix 2! Can't wait to get my hands on that.
Then probably a para military 2 for Christmas.

My Spyderco's this year are the Sage II, Para 2, & PPT.
I like them all very much and carry all three regularily (Sage everyday).
I'm interested in the Gayle Bradley next and maybe the Superleaf.

Edit: Okay, left off the Carpenter steel Para 2. I'm gotta have that one without question. Awsome pattern the P2!!!

Great idea!

Another one!!

I'm going to get the Sage 3 when it releases. I plan on getting the FFG Persian and CTS Para 2 sprint next year.

I'm sure I'll be drooling over some new models when Spyderco releases its next catalog. :)

My next few on pre-order:

Sage 3
Para 2 S90V
Orange Manix 2
and Red Persian, if there are any more issued.

I am completely tapped out of funds for knives for awhile. That being said, I really like the Superleaf...

Yojimbo II is at the top of list. I got to handle a prototype at Martial Blade Camp and love it. Fits perfect in my hand, has a blade that is a cross between the original and the wharncliff on the BeWharned and a concaved surface on the blades top surface where you thuumb fits nicely when holding the knife in a Filipino grip.
