DANG! My Game Wardens are smaller than this!

DANG!

This may go back up for sale. Not my cup-o-tea. Construction is AWESOME. The blade is beautiful, action tight but smooth, lockup is superb. Shape????? I love it. But it's about an inch too long and a 1/2" too wide. Great Job SRKW!

Hey - it snap-opens. That's a COOL feature! The blade is SO danged big and SO danged heavy, you can flick your wrist and open it. WOW! Never had a folder that would do that from complete close reliably.

 I had actually thought it was kinda small, thin, and narrow

'course I carry one of the following, Meaner Street, Heavy Duty, Strider AR, etc etc. Next to those the Rat Trap is rather diminutive. :D

Wear that Trap for awhile & you'll wonder how you ever got along with a smaller knife! :D

Clip it to your pocket and forget it's there, it's so slim.
It's a very small big folder I think.

For me it's the perfect companion! It's gone when clipped in my pocket, but when open it's the grand piano of folders.

I have to agree with you, the first time I handled it I thought HOLY CRAP, this thing is too big for me. I changed my mind after carrying it for about a day, I realized that it carried well, was slim, lightweight and it handled any cutting task I needed it for.

:D:D

Still having trouble using a $140 folder .......but I use my Active duty as pocket knife?

Thats 'cause the Rats are the safe queens and the Busse's are the real users. :D :p :foot:

I have a feeling Erics gonna get creative with my Crash Axe. :o

GF - you need to buy you a Sebenza to throw in the safe. Then carry that Rat Trap & you'll find out why $140 was such a great buy!

it is a large folder, but the thin profile makes it carry like a much smaller knife. unlike emersons, which are already thick to begin with, and with some of the larger ones, tend to print more and are less comfortable when carrying, still love those eki's though.

i say carry it for a few days, and see what you think.

Here is a comparison shot I did right after I got my RT. Put it up against an INFI Coot ans was surprised. But like the rest, after edc'ing it for a year now, I feel lost without it. I had some foolish notion of selling it but it is back in my hip pocket as we speak. A year later it is as solid as the day I got it. Clip is missing some of the black, but not a problem. Clip did spread out some but took it off and bent it back tight. good as new.

I usually have a 4" EDC folder, so I'm used to this size knife. The other two knives that I rotated before the Rat Trap, were a G-10 Police Spyderco and a Military Spyderco. I like the Rat Trap much better. As mentioned above, it's very slim in the pocket. It also rides very low, which is a big plus to me. Isn't as noticable and not much hanging out to snag on something. Wish people weren't so knife paranoid here in California, otherwise I'd be carrying my inficoot or INFI Street Scrapper I just bought (can't wait for this one! )

Yeah it makes me feel good about where I live in the boonies.
I ride a motorbike in summer and have rode home from the post office with a
katana on my back and have rode all over with a Parker Hale Enfield rifle with
a 10 round mag, scope and bipod over my shoulder and a german WW2 army helmet on. I probably should get a mauser though or lose the helmet.
I don't think EDCing the infi streetscrapper I ordered an hour ago will be a problem.
