We just upgraded to the latest, greatest version of UBB, and there are some changes that you are going to want to know about.
New Smilies
Check out the link to the left of the post new topic / post reply box. It explains the new smilies and more. You can also disable smilies in your post should you want to type something that has a : and a ) next to each other

Flood Checking
Fortunately we haven't had this problem, but this has a secondary effect of getting rid of double posts as well! YAYYYYY!
Now, if you've made a post, the software won't let you make another for a certain amount of time (small enough to not make a difference to everyday posting).
Author Column Displays
Now you'll see just how many posts you and everyone else has, when they've registered, and where they are from. A Great way to figure out who's in your area. Time to start filling in that area of your profile, guys!
Hot Topics
Basically a window dressing feature, when a thread gets a certain number of posts, it's a Hot Topic. I'll be messing with this to see if I should raise or lower it.

Is supposed to quote a previous message within your reply, but I'm not sure what all that means yet, still experimenting myself on that....
Ok, figured it out: You just click on the new Icon at the top of the message, to the right (just past the edit icon) and that will bring up the Reply screen with the previous message already formatted to quote for you. Pretty cool...
Anyhow, cool stuff as usual, as well as some bug fixes. Enjoy!
