Title says it all. What were you able to snag at the Knob Creek show?

I got a couple of pieces I'll be posting pics of later. But I was there and didn't see have of the stuff that sold so let's show it off now.

.

I haven't heard from Proxy, maybe he got lost on the way home.............................................

.

I'll have to wait to show them off...you know the rules..pics or it didn't happen;)

I can say I'm very happy overall! :D:thumbup:

Most of my score was a pair of Desert Warfare Sets, shown along with my satin Gladius from Blade:

Next, the "black blades":

And the others in my haul:

I ended up calling Amy at the shop and asking about a price adjustment on the Swamp Rat EH3 Mojo -- I wouldn't have bought it if I hadn't wanted it enough to pay what I did, but I really do think it was mis-marked. As you can see in the picture above, the tag wasn't one of their normal round ones; I suspect the original one fell off and another was made up on the fly with a guess at the price. Still, it was surprising to see a 2007 military overrun make an appearance at the Fall 2010 show. Here's a close-up of the marking "EH3" and what appears to be a gavel -- it could be a snow shovel, but I'm going with gavel. Eric still won't say anything about the unit they were made for, and I haven't been able to find anything online:

I'm with you...IMHO it's a gavel, or a hammer or a mallet!! maybe that mil unit "drops the hammer" on their enemies....or they bring justice to the lawless??
i like my first wild uneducated assumption better than my second lol :D:thumbup:

good grabs on those sets..love the orange/blk handles on the DSF!

The Desert Warfare Sets, Desert Storm Fighters, and those cool Jack Hammers were all show specials.

You got some great pieces as usual.

IIRC the prices on the EH3 were a "special" show price at the 2007 Knob Creek. I'm pretty sure the original mini-mojo prices were $198.95, they probably just marked it at the regular price, not remembering that they did a show special on them in 2007. Great grab on that piece btw. (this is all from memory and that doesn't always serve me well, so a little online investigation may prove me wrong)

I don't know where to start.

What is that?

That's about the most unique grind and profile Busse I think I have ever seen.

Truely a one of a kind.

It is the Nuclear Seahorse and it wasn't at the show, it was discussed though ;)

Here are pics of a few pieces I've picked up in the last 6 months. Was on a little bit of a BWM variant theme.

Here is a close-up of one(thanks to my proxy since I was 10 minutes late ;) )

This is what my proxie nabbed:

I've been looking for a set of 1911 grips for a while, and it so happened, Busse brought a pair of tequila sunrise grips to the creek!

The lighting does suck, but they are a dark sunrise, they're not amazing custom shop pieces, but they will be used :D

Eric, is that top BWM variant the first one (#1) of 14, or simply one of the 14? Sweet blades, esp the no choil bwm

Eric, you already have the wrapping paper out, just wrap and send the bottom 2 knives to me. Do you want my address? lol
