Who told Murphy where I live and let him into my shop (garage)!!!!!!!!!!! :grumpy: I have made three blades over for one knife. 2 main blades for another one. 2 sets Springs twice. Today a welded bolster popped off just as I got the handle shaped to size. Fixed that. Then while finishing the grind on the three whittler blades I got them too thin. Now I am going to start over AGAIN :mad:

I got enought knife parts for about 5 knives and none of them fit together to make a knife.

I think I'll just have a beer! :D

Anybody need a helper. Murphy is looking for a new place to be.
 
:eek: Keep him Please...Just give him a beer and maybe he will leave you alone for awhile;)
I have been trying to get him to leave my shop for the last month...

I'm about to start grinding again, done drawing and reading for a while. SO make sure y'all keep him busy out your ways.
 
Hey he was here too! It took me two hours to shape a set of bolsters and the back edge isn't lined up with handle the way I want. And I ground the tip of my thumb and the tip of my index finger off in the process.:grumpy:

I think he's been trashing my shop while I'm at work also, I know I didn't make that mess!:D
 
I'm a loner. When he's here I just leave him alone in the shop and go read or crank some tunes.

He bores easily with no input. Ends up leaving without having done much damage. ;)

I wish you guys would stop talking about this guy,
he made me a visit this week, I had a great bowie
almost finished and found 4 cracks in the ironwood
handle that I thought was solid, thy would not fill
with super glue so had to break it off and start
over. But it all came together as I found a better
piece of ironwood in my pile. Maybe if we don't pay
any attention to him he will go away.

Well someone sent him back to my shop. I ruined a knife that was 98% finished. It will still make an efficient knife but I'm NOT happy with it! Six hours work today down the tube! :grumpy:
Oh well, my wife still wants it, says it has character!:D
