BCCI is on the move. After listening to my constant "suggesting" the officers have worked a, let me state "unprecedented", project to make the next "Special" BCCI knife a 301 in two versions. SO, you 300 and 301 people don't spend all your money on these new knives being discussed in the forum, hide some away for late May use.. I have been given the OK, to be the first person to provide you with info. on this project. *SPECIAL* for BCCI members only, two 301s will be offered for order in the next newsletter.
Sorry, you non-BCCI guys you will have to hope that members don't buy them all before they are offered to the public.
Actually, it is certain even the members will be limited to just a couple of knives due to the limited number made. The limits may be reduced depending on the "pre"-demand. I am worried I will even get one.

So all that said, the next BCCI newsletter will have information and photos. Once they are being mailed I will come back with full description and photos to make you non-BCCI members jealous.

What will you get, here is a photo, HA .....for more than this you will have to wait. I will tell you these two things.
Scale is white micarta AND the blades are RRRRREALLY extra special.........Can you tell I am excited.

Nickle bolsters, FFG and white micarta with D2 blades?

So I was right on the white micarta. Still hopping for D2 blades but wouldn't mind ATS-34 or 440C. Buck is making the new Federal 110 in 440C so that might be a possibility. The Marksman is 154CM so that could be a possibility too. I'm probably in for one of each regardless.

You are such a tease! I cannot see the picture but did you disclose that there is a choice in the options? In other words club members can buy one version, or the second or both!
 


Multiple blades of special steel: OMG. Choices Larry: Better still. BTW, what are you guys a marketing tag team or something? Go ahead mad men. I feel left out if I am not upsold now-a-days. David's talented wife is going to have a bit of work I predict. Desert Dave, if you get your wife 10 of these for her Birthday its a blessing for us but you're going back to the dog house I betcha because cool they definitely are but diamond rings they are not... :)

Sweet. White Micarta is good for me. In fact, I would like every piece of cutlery Buck makes offered in white Micarta. Oh yea. Every one. Yup.

I've studied the photo, thanks for it 300, and I am pretty sure that it is not the 424 I asked for. That's OK. Next time. I can wait.
 
I am guessing one version will have 2 or 3 blades be sheepsfoot S30V blades.

and the other version will be S30V steel blades with a thumstud on the main blade, and of course a pocket clip.
The tactical 301 :D

Except for one opinion you guys know we have to have a little fun on the Buck forum. AND I will repeat these are for BCCI member sales. Likely the only way non-members will get one is if you members buy one and give it to them. There will only be 100 each made. Total of 200. In the newsletter which is at the printers now there will be a order form for late May delivery. Sorry but I am going to play the game I started. In a few days I will show the knifes two scale versions. There are lots of regular Buck forum folks and BCCI members who have not seen this post yet. Lets let them speculate a few seconds also. A special 300 is very uncommon, a special event. Marketing BS you bet your sweet bippy it is. They sell good maybe we can get a 303 special......300Bucks

I thought this was top secret. I haven't even told my dog about it because anyone can bribe her with cookies. Once you give all the details you might recruit some new BCCI members.
 
Just curious.... since I am a new BCCI member, I don't know these details.
If I order one, when the newsletter shows up, do I make the payment now, or in may?
Because those new offerings you mentioned have my current knife funds already earmarked, but in May there would be new knife funds :)
 
My determination to focus my collection just keeps getting tried. Oh wait! this is a club knife so I'm good! Sweet!

Ok, collectors she's given the nod. She'll scrim what ever you want. Name, animal, design, retirement date, etc.. Only not as much room to work as a 112. DM

Chris, the manner this normally is run: the announcement in the newsletter comes with a order form. Fill it out and send it in with payment. In order for the project to move forward. If not enough orders we've seen these projects stall. Thanks to the board for this offering. My money is on one member pressing for this as I don't recall a dressy slip lock being offered to the members. DM

Any word on a promised SPECIAL 110 for BCCI? Another great reason for joining BCCI friends...I was there when CJ Said we would get one, tho might be very limited!
 
While we are on the subject a little, any idea when BCCI members will be getting a 2014 catalog?

Not really. The 'Club Knife' typically comes out in June (check the last June newsletter offering pg. 3) and holds a gold inlay with the clubs logo on the mirror polished blade. The other offerings from the club are essentially fund raiser or anniversary knives in response to members request. DM
