I see your biscuit, and raise you a breakfast Dagwood.

(What is a breakfast Dagwood you might ask? A sandwich that may or may not still be sold by Denny's that had bacon, sausage, ham, hashbrowns, egg, and cheese on a bun. For today's concoction, what we have is bacon diced up with some breakfast sausage, mixed into two egg "patties", which are around a central core of hashbrowns cooked golden brown and topped with American cheese. Around the egg "patties" is another layer of cheese (cheddar), and then a layer of ham on either side, top and bottom, embracing the egg layer. All this nestled in a warm crostini bun.)

Your move professor.

Freshly baked kale chips...lightly drizzled with olive oil and sprinked with low sodium seasoned salt..mmmmmmm

You're talkin my language bear! That looks mighty tasty and like what I make for breakfast on a regular basis, although the chorizo is for crap around here so usually I just go with taco meat. Grandpa always had a bottle of tapatio on the table for every meal and that is some good stuff.

Oh heck, if you are getting down to that level, I have no idea. Didn't look anything like the wheat bread I have sitting in the cupboard, but then I suppose that doesn't mean anything. Either way, it was tasty as heck.
 
well, i myself don't eat a lot of bread, or pasta for that matter. try to keep the flour based products to a minimum, because i don't like the effects... this has been a trend for years.

course, i *LOVE* certain kinds of breads and pastries and such, so that sucks :> on the other hand, many are quite yucky. not worth eating.

there are trends in diets lately... "low carb" has led to Paleo and Primal style diets... where carbs aren't forbidden, just the types. wild rice compared to process-non-stick rice... less poh-tay-toes and more vegetables... dietary fat is GOOD.

then we have books like "wheat belly", http://www2.macleans.ca/2011/09/20/...ive-and-how-shunning-it-will-make-you-skinny/ and etc etc etc. it's literally addictive.

so, as a health strategy, i put down that loaf of bread, and eat more meat.

just picked up some elk, vension, and buffalo rib eye today

i also enjoy pemmican. need to eat more actually :)
