I purchased my Sirus 298GY w/ATS-34 blade several months ago. First Buck I've bought in about 30yrs. Nice solid knife and fast AO. I am very happy with it. I think you will like it. Great knife for a decent price. Search the internet knife shops, I've seen them for around $60.

I think you will defintely like the Sirus. I have one in the yellow and red annodized flame finish. You should be able to find one around $60. AO is fast and opens with a resounding WHACK. Lock up is tight with NO blade play. The fact that the safety is located right behind the flipper is, to say the least, handy. The only drawback that I see is that the annodized finish is a bit shiny which translates to a very slick feeling handle. In comparison, I have a Kershaw Leek red and black annodized handle but the finish is flat and it has an almost very fine emory paper feel to it-not slick. That said, I would still buy the Sirus again and the dark gray handle finish in your post may have a "stickier" feel to it. Let us know.
