What is the name of the add-on thumb stud for not studded knives?

I tried Googling but no dice. Would do a search here, but brain refuses to give hint.

It's called an One-Armed Bandit. Smoky Mtn. Knifeworks sells them for sure and maybe some other places. Careful, there are two different sized for different blade thicknesses.

NOW..... do you think it would fit INSIDE a Victorinox One hand Trailmaster (Trekker)? Make it a stud opener instead of hole?
Thinking of putting INSIDE the existing hole and clamping to the bridge of hole.

No. I doubt it. But they only cost about $15 and they're cool to have around so you might just buy one and try it...

Hmmm. ACTUALLY... I'm at work right now, but if you want I can measure mine with calipers when I get home tonight. I'll send you the dimensions and you can measure your Trailmaster hole and we'll know for sure. :)
 
The smaller of the two one-armed bandits is .279" in diameter, so if that will fit through your Trailmaster's hole you're all set. Good luck.
