It's on its way!

Thanks in part to the input of the good members here on the Becker forum, I have just placed my order for a BK9. I research purchases carefully, moreso when it is something I am particularly interested in, like knives. I have actually pondered this little decision for a few months! :o I considered the Junglas, RTAK II, the new Buck Hoodlum, and the Ontario RD9 in addition to the BK9. I'm sure they are all great blades, but the 9 won out. You guys are very convincing! :cool:

I wish I had this knife when I went on a camping trip to Isle Royale last spring!
 
Just got mine in yesterday. Awesome piece of equipment. Can't wait to get out and use it. Congrats on the purchase.
 
Baton it through seasoned oak! Then you'll know why so many people love it. It's a beast. I've full-out beat the piss out of mine, and the only "damage" was the blade coating scuffing off. Sharpens up easily with diamond stones and a leather strop, and ready for more. Absolutely the one knife I would take if I were going to be stranded in the jungle and could only take one.
 
After picking up a BK9, I went ahead and cancelled my order for a Junglas :eek:

Hell of a knife, bud. You'll enjoy it!

Dude, that's great. Today will be my first opportunity to take mine out... I've been running around the apartment all day with my 9 strapped to my hip... This thing is CRAZY.
