A few photos from OKCA 2014:

Triple R (terrific hat Leroy):

Pristine LV blast from the past, tang showing thru endcap, excellent sheath with vendor tag, mystery knife per Joe Houser (the condition was remarkable). It looks like a 103 skinner to my sore eyes but Joe Houser sees a 110. This knife was produced before the advent of the 110. It was shown in a catalog that is a copy of a copy and the vendor address was a private residence that was never a location of a Buck factory:

Howard Hoskins, a must visit table and a fine fellow:

A rare 110 that Joe brought to the show:

I had a great time today thanks to Buck, BCCI, Triple R Knives, all of the other vendors and the capable folks at OKCA. You all put on a wonderful show. Thank you kindly.

Thank you for looking at the photos members.

Wow Steve,

Looks like I missed another great show, maybe next year. What can I say, work has to come first. So many very cool photo's of all those knives, I want one of each;). Also, nice to see some of our folks enjoying a good time.

Thank you

Thank you Oregon for posting pictures for everyone to see. It was a great show and it was great to talk to some of the guys that were there. I didn't get to take any pictures while there and will try to do so next year while there as well.

Great pictures which represents the show well.

Thanks. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Oregon,

Great pics. The OKCA show is outstanding. I went both days for the first time (6 hours on Sat and 2 hours on Sunday). $20 for a one year membership and free newsletters and free admissions for two shows Fall/Spring is a deal. Saw three one hour seminars also. Joe Houser from Buck is outstanding.

Stellar work as always. Thanks for your hard work and feeding the addiction. Quick question do you know what was rare about the 110 Joe brought to the show (the 3 line inverted)?

Wow! So many great 532s

The BCCI riches enticed me into membership. It just keeps getting better.

My pleasure. You are welcome. Next year for sure. Where else will you see a 184 (not an authorized 184 but you get the idea) on a stick (spear) or a bowie as big as I am (notice the skull crusher)?

Thank you for the kind words. Some of the vendors don't mind the camera's attention and some relish showing off. Fun for me.

OKCA is such a bargain and the attendees are tops. I got to handle a Neft Safety Knife from the 1920's!

Yes. You wil find this 110 one of the most difficult to obtain. Low production numbers for this variation. Joe was shocked that it hadn't sold. No 110 collectors there I suppose. Thank you for the compliment.

I guess I own a rare one, who knew

Great photos Oregon. Thanks for sharing.

Your taste in cutlery, photographic skill and contribution to the knowledge base right here are like a tidal wave that carries anyone who dares post here in your looming shadow of accomplishment and legend. I think of you when I post here and try not to embarrass you too much. Bravo to you. Thank you for the kind words it is my pleasure.

I've been hunting one knife, to finish a collection, for several years without joy. I have a lead from this show to another show in October where arrangements are being made for another collector of the same marquee will bring his collection for sale and I have been told that he has multiples of that which I seek. This kind of information, and I will see if I actually do hit pay dirt, you can only get from collectors who know collectors because some don't come out to display or sell at all. Funny to me but in looking, the hunt, you find sign and the hunt continues and probably only ends with mortality or banko. :) What fun for me. Looking for needles in stacks of needles and finding rumors that excite and motivate. This show, for me anyway, is like an alcoholic swimming in a river of beer.

Thanks Oregon, Great pictures... Look's like lots of fun... Thanks for sharing your day with us... ITE ...
