A well deserved congratulations to all.

Definitely congrats to you, I was lusting after your terrific chopper - as glorious as the Lisch knives were it was yours that really spoke to me, the pics don't do it justice!

Yeah, Dave really knows how to clean house with the awards. ;) :)

Congrats to you too. That chopper looks pretty mean. Looks like it has a NICE hamon!

Chuck thanks for posting up the awards. That Lisch guy is going to need a trophy room addition on his shop.:thumbup:

We might have to break one of his hands. You know..............handicap him a bit, so the rest of us have a chance. ;) :D

Just kidding Dave! Congrats and well deserved.

Actually, on second thought, why bother? Dave can still make knives better than most of us with only one hand. :)

John, Even if Dave hand no hands he is still in a league on his own

As usual, the pictures are nowhere near what they actually look like. Yes Dave is in a completely different dimension when it comes to design and execution. We had a great talk about his work. Phenomenal to say the least.

Seeing good friends and finding that just right piece of handle material, then getting some inspiration from great makers is worth every second at the show. Hope to see you all next year.

Wow, great knives. Love that folder. And David hit them all out of the park. Well done to all the winners.

Thankyou for posting Chuck. Congrats on the killer Hand Forged award.
I see my buddy John Davis got Best Folder
Did you need to help Dave Lisch to the car with his arm load of trophies?

Lisch strikes again! Gonna have to name an award after him, then not allow him to enter;)

No Dave kinda disappeared toward the end of the show. Guess he wanted to avoid the rotten veggies we had stored up for him;) Nah, Dave's awards were most deserved. I was glad to see him do so well. I just need to step up my game to compete in those categories next year.

John's folder was gorgeous, I just wish I could have captured it better.

Bruce we miss your smiling face out here. Maybe next year.

Congratulations Dave, you certainly know how to make winners. My first Lisch knife and it's a winner!
Can't wait to get my hands on it. :D:DI just love that serpentine feather Damascus.

thanks for posting these pics! i know i am pretty much a "nobody", and its a real honor to be listed among such an amazing group of knives and makers on the winners list. i was told by many table visitors at the show that i should participate more on the message boards, so i thought this would be a good place to start. cheers!

Hi Folks Chuck thanks for posting and the kind words I am waiting for pics from the show of the wining knives when I get them I will do a post. this show is a lot of fun its a 5 hour drive for me and I did sneak out a bit early to avoid the crazy sunday night traffic that can add two hours to a 5 hour trip. I got some great wood its nice to hand pic your wood. I also got two pieces of ivory and one of them is a show stopper black as black gets ice axe. but most of all i got to spend time with so many friends that I have made at the show over the last 6 or seven years I have been doing the show . I missed the show last year and what i missed most was seeing those good folks.
