Back in the day, I spent a lot of time in the Okefenokee Swamp. Sometimes we would go in from Folkston GA, sometimes from Fargo.
Beautiful, but it can be dangerous if you don't know where/what you are doing.

Nice pictures, Just spent the afternoon at the Okefenokee Swamp Park friday after a week at little Talbot Island State Park in Fla.
I've camped and canoed from the Stephen Foster State Park years ago. I must go back!

Did you make it to Billys Island? A good friend of mine had a grandfather or great grandfather that worked there logging. When we were about 14 or so his Mom rented us a boat and we went zipping around out there and made it out to the island.
