Hey guys...

You know I was in Oklahoma last week. I had some down time, so my sister took me around town. We visited the bombing memorial. Very sobering display. They did a real nice job on it. Not flashy, just very respectful. Anyone else been?

Here's something interesting, and I hope not to offend anyone by bringing this up. In the museum, there are displays of various items and their stories. One of the stories involved a doctor who was on site helping the victims after the blast. Apparently, a woman (I think) had her leg pinned beneath some wreckage that was too difficult to move, so the doctor had to do an amputation. Unfortunately, he didn't have his normal instruments with him. Do you know what he used? A Schrade copenhagen peanut. It's on display with pictures of the event. I'm not trying to make light of this. I'm just trying to point out that knives are not the evil tool that alot of people make them out to be. In this case, it probably saved a life. And okay, it's neat that it was a schrade.

Just thought I'd share that with you...

God Grief. That tiny little knife did that? Interesting. And certainly not offensive.
Phil
