Ho HOGS. Brian received my PD yesterday, safe and sound. Now, time for a A1 sheath.
When that knife gets home---I will go no where without it---within limits, of course.

The Bad News: 13 Busse's are missing from this photo because they are currently at Okuden getting boots.

The Good News: As soon as they are done (and they're almost done), yours will move up on Brian's white board.

More around here, but these were close at hand.

Thank you. All my Busse's have Okuden boots underfoot. As KH once said, Brian has the "magic touch". I have Okuden with Okuden as well (A2 Sharp Thing II's)

I haven't been able to pry the satin SJ out of my hands long enough to place in a box and to ship to Brian. That is the only reason it doesn't have Okuden "yet".

GPB---I can relate to your SJ story. I was NOT going to send my PD in for a sheath. That's pretty ridiculous. Thanks again and thanks All.
 
That my friends (bottom right in the pic) was a gift from a very good friend and knife maker in Wauseon to my son for his Cowboy costume, many years ago when he was a young lad. We used to talk more, but then both our businesses grew, we started families, and no good time to talk for either except at Blade once a year. I miss those years / times but too many mutual responsibilities to have the discretionary time to chat these days.

It is an all micarta Badgeresque design with a custom Okuden sheath and my most cherished Busse.

My son was kind enought to let me have it and I keep it framed in my office along with my HOG ASH!

Welcome sir, lots of memories in that puppy.;)

As to your other question (top left), they are BATAC's with a grip wrap material that is outstanding for dry or wet scenarios. It works VERY well. The cord is bright orange and reflective so they will not be lost when afield.
