So I got a little package from Brianup at Okuden today.. KYDEX!! And INFI!!

I had left my Active Duty with him at Blade, and it's come home! I also picked up a Necker for my Scotch Dispenser.

I figured I'd put up a pic of all my Okuden Kydex. You'll notice one or two INFI pieces in there, so it's on topic!

Here is a unique one.. It's a SAR Warden, with a "hush-hush" custom sheath, designed to fit into one of the pockets on my Rescue Vest.

And a close up..

Happy Saturday!

Thanks for the Great Work Brian!!

Very nice! I still havn't got one of his, but so many I know say there some of the best made.

I gotta get off my butt and get in touch with him.

Yeah... assuming of course that one can get him to send it to them.
Have you already paid? If you have, how long have you been waiting?

From his thread yesterday (where he had surplus to sell) it seems to me that he's been awfully busy bending plastic. Heck, I have an order with him that I am waiting on myself. He hasn't even been doing any of his friendly bantering with me that he usually does when we correspond.

Personally, I love the quality of his work so much that I have no problem waiting with him.

Seems to me that the Busse family keeps getting bigger; and the number of "accredited" makers hasn't changed. That's something else to keep in mind.

^He's never asked me to pre-pay... I'd be happy to, though.

Not looking to bust any chops. Brian definately does the best Kydex work I have ever seen. No question there. And yes, certainly a friendly guy. :)

I certainly hope that you didn't think I was trying to bust your chops either. I was just curious if the unthinkable had happened - that he had billed you and not shipped, or dropped contact with you while having a knife. None of which I can imagine Brian doing intentionally.

Yeah it's frustrating to order pants and have to wait...but that's the name of the game with collecting Busse! :)

Brian has a policy.. Our military guys who are shipping out, or are overseas get priority. After that, Military who are still in the US.. Followed by the rest of us. With that said, I kinda support his business beliefs and am willing to wait the extra time. Our Boys and Girls out there on the sharp end of the rope, putting their butts on the line SHOULD get their stuff quick.

If there is a question about your order, drop him a line. He has ALWAYS returned a call or an email within an hour or two.

Very happy w/ the sheath he made for my HADSAGE. About a month's wait and well worth it. Pete

Nice pics, thanks for the ideas! I love Brian's work and have many of his sheaths. The quality is excellent and he is an all around stand up guy to do business with

Mike, do you happen to have a picture of the Sar warden sheath out of the bag? Im looking to piggyback my warden in the pocket of my dogfather LE sheath and everything I have found is a little to wide to fit nicely.

No... It's just a taco style kydex sheath with a chicago screw through a grommet in the bottom holding it in.

Sorry..
