In 2017 I'm getting Full Custom build Wayfarer Classic.
So if you have any Classic Wayfarers or any other models of their knives show pictures:thumbup:
Bonus points for pictures of knives being used:thumbup::thumbup:

An Olamic is at the top of my list for 2017 purchases as well. Having trouble deciding on the right combination of materials, I like too many of them. I wish I could get more than one.

Both of mine are the nicest knives I own.

This one is custom-built to my specs:

Thank you for first picture post:thumbup: both of them very nice!
How long did you had to wait in queue for custom and how long to build?

Both knives have similar design and yet depending on picture it looks either slim top one or bulky bottom one.

Specifically, I'm concerned with bulkiness of rear bottom of handle, how bulky is it?
On mine I'm planning to order it shorter and slimmer, more rounded.

Do they feel same?
Are they bulky like ZT0200 or slim like BM710 or in the middle like ZT045X?

Top one looks like one of those dangerous poisonous snakes ready to strike!

Well, they are both large knives. Do not be fooled or mistake my pictures. If you are not a fan of large knives, then you will not be a fan of Olamic (fullsize) Wayfarers. The blade is four inches, and the handle scales are rounded, so they fill out the hand. This is a BIG knife (all fullsize Wayfarers, not just these two knives in particular). I personally love larger knives, so they are perfect for me :D

Once I get home and get a chance, I can do a comparison shot or three between that knife and a couple of others. I'll also take a cross-section pic for you and you'll see what I mean. These are not knives that disappear into a pocket. As for the feel, the green scaled knife is much heavier than the red scaled knife, because the bolsters, clip, and backspacer are solid copper. Also, the scales are more or less one even swell, they do not have palm-swells or curves on the face of them, if that makes sense.

To my recollection, it took about four months for my knife to be made and sent to me. I can tell you that Eugene runs an absolute TOP SHELF company, and his products are flawless. I will own more in the future, and I highly recommend having a look at some of his other designs also.

Also, if you decide to purchase, spend a few minutes checking Olamic's site, and their Instagram out. They have different blade grinds, and one might catch your eye more than the others.

Yep, I have spend few weeks drooling over his Instagram feed, best knife porn ever!:D
I'm going to have Eugene build me perfect Full Custom spec Fancy User 4" blade/ 4.1" handle/ 4-6oz total weight.
4" high hollow ground with 15 DPS convex mirror edge from tip to scale & cutting edge from tip to flipper around 4.25", CTS-XHP steel, with mirror on grinds and satin on flats, Re-Curve Drop point, with 3.5" rounded false edge it's going to end even with sub-hilt apex in closed position with thumb ramp and possibly thumb hole.
It's a hybrid blade shape top false edge from spear point & bottom re-curve drop point from harpoon wayfarer.

Titanium single piece bolster enclosing/sandwiching Ironwood scales without bolt holes for clean look, Ti milled out liners, rope file work on both liners and Ti back spacer with probably blue & gold anodizing. No pocket clip and diagonal hidden lanyard hole through back spacer. Flipper will be slimmer with bigger whole to reduce weight.

Handle will be shorter end slightly longer than tip of blade, slimmer follow curve line of the blade toward the tip, no excess material at the bottom or back of handle.

It's going to be perfect:D

I was going to order engraving on bolsters but similar one listed on dealer site goes for around $1.5K which is too expensive at the moment for me:(

Whoa! Take a breath @Wolf7. :) My mind is spinning with your blade description. Be sure to post pictures when you get it.
I am still working out my build specs. Will post them when I finally zero in on my perfect Wayfarer. For now I am still stuck on Wayfarer knife porn.

Here is my mid tech. Not as nice the others, but I love it!

Given the variety of these things and the popularity of the 247, Busker, and Swish, it is criminal that this thread hasn’t had more life. I’m going to jump start this one with a pic of Ilya starting to fill out the card for my 247 at Blade West.

Then, the best pics I currently have for showing the jewel finish on the pivot, internals, and backspacer.

Plus one, because ... reasons? This one shows a little peek at the jewel finish appearing on the inside of the show scale.

I'll check out their stock at the California Custom Knife Show tomorrow. I love a lot about the Busker. I've held off because it seems too thick to work well as a small slicer. Can any Busker owners comment? Thanks.

Love me some Olamic. Great quality blades and awesome customer service. From mid-tech to basically custom...their prices are hard to beat for what you get. I like to joke with Eugene at Olamic that I'm their number one fan with my 60+ Olamic collection.

I'm laughing so hard haha when I read that custom build first thing I thought of was Ralphie talking about the red ryder.

In reality I hope he gets olamic to build the knife and posts pics because I bet it would be rad.
