I have been gives what looks to me to be an ancient 112. I say pretty old because the edges are sharp like the first one I got in the early 1970s. The blade is marked "Buck" on one line and under that is "USA". These marking are viewed right side up if seen with the blade tip pointed at your. There is no model number (112) or any other marking.

This seems different from the pictures I see with a three line marking that includes "112" and is viewed right side up with the blade tip pointed away from you.

What do I have?

This link is to the 112 data that is found in the stickies at the beginning of this forum.
Because of features found on the early 112 you will have to look through the different data for different date indicators and make the decision on what yours is dated to.
ETA photos showing your 112, front, back, back end and tang stamp are needed for any of us to help you should you not be able to do it yourself.

Thanks for the link to that resource.

And the blade has no nail-nick!
