Old 112 tang stamp

A regular customer walked into my place of business asking asking if we still had a sharpening stone at our sales counter (which we do for electricians to sharpen tools).
He pulls an old 112 out of his pocket he just inherited. He let me check it out and I didn't recognize the tang stamp nor did I see it on their site.
Hoping someone here could tell me its age. You'll notice little dots on either side of the 112.

The 3 dot model 112's had a fuller hollow ground blade and it was the last models to have a blade of 440C steel. DM

Thanks David, I've only been collecting Buck Knives for a couple years, I've seen very few older models. It was pretty cool to hold and note the subtle differences.
I'm really appreciative of you guys filling me in on these tidbits of information, I find it fascinating!
