Hi,

I would like to make freely and publicly available on Archive.org the old Al Mar catalogs as I believe it will help some of us study the history of old Al Mar Knives.

I have been able to get the following years:

- 1979
- 1993
- 2004
- 2005
- 2006
- 2007
- 2010
- 2011
- 2012
- 2013
- 2019 (shows some potential future knives)
- 2020

Would any of you be kind enough to let it me know if you have any other years available?

This is a great project. Thank you.

I don't have any, but I would really enjoy looking at what you have whenever you're ready.

Sorry, I had a lot of catalogs from AlMar and others during the 1980's and 90's, but they were given away and trashed about 5 years ago when preparing to move to Hawaii.

Thank you sir. Helped me to identify the year my Denali came out.
Would love to see some early 1980s catalogs.

Awesome, that's exactly why I have put them online :-)

I would love to have some 80's ones as well, well ideally I would love for all of them to be available :-)

When I was a kid growing up in the 80s and 90s I really wanted an Al Mar but couldn’t afford one. I bought a Sere 2k some years back and will always have it, even if I rarely carry it. Thanks for sharing the catalogs.

No worries dude

The SERE2K is an awesome knife.

So far my favorites are:

- SERE Operator (SRO-V)
- Eagle in ZDP189 (5HDET-ZL)
- Shiva (SV-BM)
- Al Mar Back Up 2 (BU2-2)

Also, just added a 1992 Non-US catalog :)

Some member keeps posting a payara for sale, but its always with a whole pile of other knives he wants to sell as a group!! Too bad!! In the 80's & early 90's I'd spend hours drooling over the catalogs. The 4003 especially!! Every once in a while a member posts his!! Hopefully he sees this and does so here!!!

I got this sere 2000 Vallotin conversion in 09 or 2010 from PVK when he was still here on the east coast!!
Great guy to deal with and always threw some goodies in with order!!! Got a Spyderco subhilt too, but sold it unfortunately!IMG_20200213_111616.jpg
