Old and New Busse test vids

recent days miller bros did this kind of testing on YT , very cool.
I really want to see those old vids.:thumbup:
 
I really miss that old website. I wish we could still order everything off of it.
 
Yeah, I have known Cliff since 1999. I remember the first Busse he got his hands on. He emailed me. He admittedly tried to snap it with 2lb sledge, but after a few swings he decided it wasn't really fair to the blade. Then two weeks of abuse later he used it again. I told him I tried to break a Basic 9 with two different claw hammers. I was swinging them as hard as possible splitting red oak for over an hour. All I got were chips off the spine. I know Cliff doesn't work for Busse, and never insinuated as such.

I learned a lot from Cliff, too bad many people couldn't see past his abrasiveness to the good info and new approach to reviews that he was bringing.

I'm a pretty mellow guy, Cliff and I have had a few drawn out conversations before over metallurgical procedures and such. We never let that get between our relationship though. We learned a lot from each other. To be honest, I feel he got too scientific for some people who never graduated high school and they thought he was a know it all. He spoke in algorithms and such. Now I have nothing against anyone who didn't graduate high school. These certain people were speaking outside of the scope of their knowledge, and as so got offended. Just my own opinion, and darn well to be wrong.
