Old antique Ditch bank machete made by "Briar Edge Service Tools"

Just as the title says I have an antique ditch bank machete made by Briar Edge Service Tools and I want to find out more about the company and if what I have might be historically valuable, I'm not looking for cash I just simply want to know if this is something I should send in to a collector to take good care of or not.

Not really, I found many references to the company but the only product that actually appears when searching up the company is old tomahawk type hatchets.

I have a carpenters hammer made by the same company. I am curious about briar edge, who made them, where, etc.
