I remember how those rubber pads smelled when you had to put it up to your mouth to inflate them :D hahaha.
 
Some cool equipment,likely work just as well as today.Liking those havesacks

Well to be honest this vid reminded me of my 10th Mountain days, well many years to be exact at Fort Drum, NY.
 
Excellent blast from the past.

Wintertime backpacking gun hunters might note that weaps are not subjected to a bunch of warmups and cool downs in the military. They get cold, and are left cold, lest condensation and melting snow freeze in them.

Loved the ungodly heavy 10 man hex tent w/ Yukon stove. I had a chance to purchase one of those stoves 10 yrs. ago. I'm still kicking myself for not doing it.
