I have an old Bali that if I was to guess, is about 13 to 18 years old. It has brass hardware and bone handles. It also came in a black cordura sheath that came in a wooden box with a sliding lid. I've never used the knife, although a probably sharpened it when I got it. The sheath is a new. It has never been carried or used. I also still have the box, although I've kept sharpening stones in it in the garage, so its a little dirty. Not certain if the Box makes it more attaractive to collectors or not. I don't have it in front of me, so I can't say if it has serial numbers on it or not. Can anyone provide a ballpark as to worth?

The box and sheath are good. Without a name and numbers it's difficult to tell if it's a Philippine handmade, or a production model from the 80's, or whatever. All are popular around here.

I'll dig it out. Where do I look, and what do you need? I know it has a Balisong logo on the blade. Can't remember if there was a serial number or not. Tell me where to look, and what to look for, and I will post here.

Give us every detail possible. A picture would be best. I believe Kodak offers digital images as a service when getting film developed.

Sounds a lot like the older FHMs, but as to it's worth; those are a ot harder to price than Taylors/Parkers/PCCs/Valors etc.

Well, in a way its a FHM balisong. They are in the Advanced Balisong Manual on page 96. They came in blade sizes from 3.25-4" and sold in a wooden gift box and nylon belt sheath. They were imported by Gutmann Cutlery. Sandwhich style construction with "Original Balisong" written on the blade. Bolsters have hidden pins and the insert material was polished bone, chico wood, buffalo horn, and bone stag. They sold originally for $30-$40.

Hope this helps.

It looks exactly like your 11-520. I'm certain that is it. Except my box isn't as clean. What is the approximate worth?
