old balis, new pics

Some of you might remember that a long time ago i posted pics of some of my FHM balis but the quality was very poor. Well, i just got my new camera so i took a couple of pics of my favorite FHMs.

The pics are better, although i did forget to set my camera into macro mode when i took the pics.

Yes, both have narra wood inserts.

Batangueno, thats just about the nicest looking tanto I've seen on a bali!! Beautiful grind. I'd like to know how well it flips with those flattened handles.

The handles can be annoying since i'm also used to rounded handles. The edges of the squared-off inserts seems a little sharp. You especially notice this when flipping since the handles keep rotating in your hands and fingers.

I also have a regular tanto that i will try to take a picture of someday.
