Old bandsaw blades

Would old broken bandsaw blades such as Lennox bimetal be of any value in a damascus billet? Does anyone know what steel these are made of?

A lot of the older stuff is L6

Biemetal (high alloy) not so good in damascus.

Bimetal blades are two diffrent steels in the same blade.
I don't think that I would use them. The ones that are not bimetal would be better.

Let me put it this way, I wouldn't use biemetal saw blades in my damascus but this doesn't mean it will not work. So, ya'll give it a try and let us know how it works
