Sorting knives the other day and found a knife I put together a couple decades ago. Back then I had a wood carver put the wood block on for a handle (bloodwood). The blade is about 5 1/4" in length, a Brusletto laminated IIRC. The handle is 4 3/4" ,with the double guard made of 1/4" thick copper.
My plan is to remove the existing handle and guard, and put a new handle on. I usually start with an oval of brass to serve as a guard, beyond that I'm not sure where I want to go with it. I'm hoping to get some suggestions, pics, etc, from people here on what kind of handle I should make for it.

Thanks
