my new amber bone CV jumbo stockman and a very old whitneyville armory model 1 pocket pistol:D the stockman was a gift from my dad (i think he's a closet knife nut!) and the revolver was my grandads, its a curio/paperweight since its non-functional, still really neat. Little research on the revolver dates it between 1871-1879. No story on the revolver as my grandad was born in 1908 so the gun was old by the time he got it. as for the knife its history thus far has been a steady diet of granny smith apples and sticks and a couple of packages:D it aint yeller but i think i'll keep it

I like them both! Also, there is just something special about breaking in your own new knife in decent carbon steal too!

Enjoy her.

I really like that amber bone. I have a medium stockman with serpantine blade and really like it.

Nice pics.

I agree, that knife is definitely a keeper.

Great pic.. Maybe I'm getting out of the loop, but it seems like the amber bone knives have been gaining popularity lately.
I'm not a huge fan of stockmans, but ya gotta love the 6375's.. Thats a lot of knife

thanks guys! Tis a shame i cant find a large stockman with the yeller handles, Somehow i'll struggle on with this bone handled one. :D
entering week 2 without a yeller knife in my pocket and its a little strange.
i also got a kick outta the fact that the jumbo stockman is bigger than the revolver:D
thanks again

Kewl! Love the patina on that old piece. I have almost the same knife, same specs but with 6.5 bonestag scales. I modded it for easier carry, and I'm finding more & more reasons to pocket it each day. It may not replace your yellow ones, but it'll sure be a good backup.

thx - cpr
