I just used the gun blue to highlight the etch and then went gently over it with the pumice stone.Never seen a "bread" knife, I like it. So you used the gun blue stuff to remove the rust? I'm unclear on that...
It was really fast and easy. Pumice stones work really well for removing rust, and I didn't try to make it look like new or anything. I don't think I spent ten minutes cleaning up the blade.Nice work. Got some sweat in that one don't cha ?
A clever trick, that.I just used the gun blue to highlight the etch and then went gently over it with the pumice stone.
I believe it was our member here Trailsawyer that shared that trick for cleaning up crosscuts.A clever trick, that.
