I have an older Buck 110 that I could not pin down the date on. I am trying to find some information on it because a friend wanted to sell it and I could not advise him on a price. The lock up is tight as a vault, with nice F&F. The tip of the blade does have some damage which can be seen from the left side of the blade.

Any advise on information and price would be great.

Thanks,
John

When I was looking at the page Joe made with dates, I went down until I noticed they were stamped on the left side. I did not keep going, but after looking back I see that it change to the right side marks during the left side marking years. Thank you for clearing that up for me.

Thanks,
John

It's somewhat rare and in it's current condition, I'd place a value of of $1200 to $1350. If you happen to have the sheath. then the price goes up to $3500 to $5000. Because of it's rarity, you may be able to donate to a museum and get a large tax write off if that's something that would be of more value to you. I'd contact Sotheby's. Congratulations on such a find. :)

+1
I was going to say, knock a zero off the end of it in it's current condition and the price (from the values in post 5) and it would make more sense.

Thank you all very much for this info. I have no use for it, so I am going to list the 110 and find it a new home.

Thank you all again,
John
