Have Buck Knives always had the Buck stamp on the Blade? Co worker said he has a big Buck Fixed blade his Grand father had when he was 15. But when i asked him he said there was no markings on the blade. My guess is he was just told it was a Buck just like any knife that looks like a 110 is referred to as a Buck. He is going to send me some pictures so we shall see.

 False alarm!! No Buck i ever seen or is it? Any ideas what it might be? Should i post this on General knife forum?

One more reason I hate the laser etching. 20yrs from now someones going to be wondering if it's a Buck or not cuz the etching has worn off.

good point. I dont mind it but it does wear off over time and use.

wonder if its stopping anyone from collecting or using knives with it?

Maybe a Gill Hibben?

I wish they would go back to the stamped tang instead of the etching... Personally, I think it looks cheap...
